In the fall of 2009...
While hard at work, a young lady caught the attention of a young man. Ricardo was smitten by this young lady & decided to ask her out on a date. The young lady, Rashida, said "no." Being the persistent young man that he is, Ricardo decided to continue to keep her close. Months later, almost a year, Ricardo decided to try his luck once more and ask Rashida out for lunch. This time, she said "yes." And from that lunch date, Rashida & Ricardo knew they enjoyed each others company & their relationship grew into something special.

Some years later, in the winter of 2014, Ricardo decided it was time to act upon his feelings for Rashida and ask her to marry him. He enlisted the assistance of the people closest to he & Rashida. These special people worked for months to get everything just right. Ricardo decided to tell Rashida they were going to go to California for his birthday so she would not suspect anything unusual. All the while, he was planning something BIG. On the morning of June 13, 2015, Ricardo woke up in the wee hours of the morning and headed to the vineyard where he planned to propose. Later that morning, Rashida, her family & Ricardo's parents met Ricardo at Honig Winery for a vineyard tour & wine tasting. While on the tour Ricardo pulled Rashida to the side, presented her with a customized wine bottle that read "Rashida Saidah Collins, will you marry me?"
